thank you notes

I've always just personally thanked the kids, but this year I'm making it a point to write thank you notes. I thought it would be fun for them to receive mail. Plus, as a parent I think it's nice to KNOW that the teacher received the gift. I'll think of something positive to say about the gift (how I'll use it, etc...) and thank them for something special about them (how they befriend others, etc...). Nothing long, but probably 2-3 sentences. I'll write a few at a time and mail them over the break.
