Try the NCSS, National Council for the Social Studies for activities/standards, book lists, etc. For the music, call a local museum that has a gift shop and see what they have in the way of resources. Or check a local art gallery, sometimes they know of local musicians/music. Haven't done this yet, but would like my students to attempt it this next year...Good luck.
