I change my desks every two weeks. The only thing that I can find that works for me is either Rows of four on an angle (its a triangle without the bottom. Or I will put them In "Islands" as I call them but I turn them sideways so that there are 3 desks on each Like this:

| | | WALKWAY | | |

| | | WALKWAY | | |

BOARD

This works well because I can watch all the kids at once and When I stand in the Middle They dont talk. Good Luck I would suggest you try that.
