Core Knowledge

I teach at a school that uses Core Knowledge curriculum (E.D. Hirsch) in addition to the state curriculum. I really like Core knowledge and the school is planning on implementing it even more next year. Currently we use it for social studies and science, but we will incorporate all areas next year. While our math program, Saxon Math, matches up well and will remain our reading program may change. We currently use Open Court 2002 which has some good things and some weak points. Is their anyone who uses Core Knowledge that has a well working reading program? We will also begin using "Write From the Beginning" for our writing next year.
