snow boots
By slooper

Clip to ScrapBook
When I taught in Alaska, we kept indoor shoes in the classroom. When students entered the room in the a.m., changing into indoor shoes and putting away snow boots was part of the morning routine. In the p.m. changing back was also built into the routine. The only issue was changing for recess. In Alaska, you went outside until it was -10. I believe we had an extra 20 minutes built into the schedule for those transition periods.
