open space?
By Kelly

Clip to ScrapBook
Hello. Do you mean that you will be in a classroom without walls? If so, I teach first grade in an open school. This will be my second year, and I must say I was freaked out when I found out I had no walls! It worked really well though. (Better than I expected). The children learn to respect one another more. It was a little hard when I wanted to do something that would require the children to be louder than usual. I just kept open communication with the teachers around me, and many times we worked as a team doing things together w/ our classes. Well, if I can be of any assistance let me know, and I'll be more than happy to try and help. But, feel assured that it is not so bad. (At least from my experience)!
