Hi!
You have allready received some great ideas. Here are a few I use routinely. As an introduction to the important areas at school, ie. cafeteria, office, bathroom, clinic, Specials, playground, etc. I have a letter| that the children and I discover (by surprise)! It has clues as to where our mystery guest has gone. Usually it starts something like this...Dear Children, Mrs. Kimbell said that today is your first day of school. I am so excited to meet all of you. I came into the classroom and nobody was here! I went to look for you. I heard that you have a great principal who helps you when | |
you have a problem. Maybe he will know where you are. Signed, __________ The children know where to look and SURPRISE! there it is when we take the attendance to the office!
