My kids do love the "sit with a friend for a lesson" and "sit at the teacher's desk for a lesson"plus the free homework coupon always comes in handy.
Also, Scholastic always gives you the free set of books with the Sept. order and I keep those to pass out as Christmas gifts along with the books I buy with bonus points.
I also bought the cheap Crayola crayons for 25 cents in August ( I wish I could have gotten them for !0 cents like the previous poster!). I think I will also include a glue stick which I got really cheap then too. It really does help to plan ahead on these student gifts. Next year you will be prepared!!!
