behavior management

Sounds like you've got a pretty good system going there Brande. From my own experience, it seems that kids go through "cycles" of misconduct, especially when a hoiliday is coming up. Maybe it's just the kid in them getting all excited & too hard to contain. I know I couldn't wait for this Thansgiving break because the little darlings were really getting on my nerves (& I teach regular ed!). Hopefully things will be better after the break....but then comes Christmas ;) !
It's a sad situation when your administration tells you they "don't have time" to deal with your students. Have you considered staying on in the district or moving on? Good Luck!
