xmas gift for the kids

Hi I have given my kids coupons from Scholastic book club for a free book , I have also bought them all a .95 cent book from scholastic.. the name of the book was " You Are Special" by Max Lucado.. great book and has a great| message for the kids.. does have some religious undertone but a great lesson for kids... I have also given " There's a Boy in the Girls Bathroom" whenit was .95 in scholastic..i try to give books since not all kids get to order books.... I also have the kids do a Yankee Swap so everyone gets to learn about sharing and they each get something... but when money is tight sometimes i don't | |
give them anything...we also pick a gift to buy for a child from those wish trees and we buy for these kids, it makes the kids feel like they are doing something for the less fortunate and the true meaning of xmas.. well i hope these suggestions help??
