here is what I came up with.

Clip to ScrapBook
I thought about using "Wreath", but it just did not sound good.

The air is cold, the holidays here,
The halls are full of Christmas cheer

The month is full of things to do,
Shopping, cooking
and parting to

The ELF is what you hang on your door,
Waiting for Santa will make December less a chore

The treat, that came with this simple note
Are yours to keep, enjoy them both

The power comes when friends like you
Will copy this and make it TWO

Then others here among our friends
Will give warm wishes that will not end

We'll
all have smiles upon our face
No one will know who "ELFED" whose place

Just one short day to work your spell
To tell your friends you wish them well

And don't forget a nifty treat
Like something cute or something sweet

Please join the fun with all our friends here
Spread some "ELVES" and Christmas cheer!

1. Enjoy your treat
2. Place your ELF on your door
3. Now you have 24 hours to copy this twice, give 2 treats and two ELFs s and secretly deliver to 2 friends who do not have a ELF on their classroom doors. Don’t forget aides, custodians, secretaries, kitchen staff, and administration!
4. Then watch how far this spreads by Christmas.
