I used to make one out an oaktag circle, with a concentric circle in the middle and spokes coming our from the inner circle. It will look like a peppermint candy. I have the kids color it red and white, or green and white, or green, white, and red. In the center they put their individual picture. Then we wrap it in plastic wrap and tie the ends with curling ribbon. it looks just like a peppermint candy! Then we glued a little clothes pin on the back, but you you could punch a hole and loop a string to hang. Very cute!:D
