Tutoring
By Gloria

Clip to ScrapBook
I tutor 3 kids once a week in my classroom after school. I charge $25.00 per hour. I could get more but I am happy with the amount. Let other teachers know that you are interested in tutoring. They will probably have
kids that they will refer to you. Don't worry about tutoring kids at your own school. I do not tutor kids in my classroom for a fee. If they need help, I do it for free. However, I do have children in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade that come to me. The 5th grader, I teach for spelling. Her Father only wants me to tutor her as I did last year. We work very well together. The 4th grader,
is on her second year of tutor- ing with me. I will have her for at least 1 class next year as well. It is really up to the parents. I also get referrrals from my principal. She actually has referred all three kids to me.

Tutoring is a great job, easy cash and not having to work all night for waht you can make in an hour and it is tax free.
