pencils
By bamateach

Clip to ScrapBook
I find that the pencils made from real wood seem to sharpen better. THere are some #2 pencils that look painted and then there are some that look natural. THe ones that look natural are the best and easiest. Remember, no
colored or cute pencils. They really jam up an electric sharpener. I haven't found an electric pencil sharpener that can hold up to sharpening 40 pencils+ per day and not need to be replaced quickly. I can't stand the sound also. I have a hand crank sharpener, which is the one I use, but it is difficult for the children to use. I have found that if I ocassionally bring home my electric sharpener
to let my husband take it apart and clean it up it helps. Boston ( not the ones at WalMArt, but the more expensive ones you find in teacher supply catalogs) last longer than any other I have found.
