Earlene, a few years ago I purchased one of Lee Canter's books entitled "Back To School With Assertive Discipline" for grades 1-6.

It is a wealth of ideas to create a positive learning environment. Some of the topics include creating a discipline plan, classroom organization, bulletin boards, getting parents on your side, homework planning, and back to school ideas.

This book also contains several reproducibles including rewards, parent letters, and forms.

The copyright date is 1990 but this book is a timeless resource. The ISBN number is 0-939007-31-2. The cost of the book was around $10.
