Book Characters
By NJ Teacher

Clip to ScrapBook
I was thinking of the ladybug from "The Very Grouchy Ladybug" by Eric Carle. You could wear black leggings/jeans with a red turtleneck and make black spots. You could buy one of those headband antennae from a party store, and I think wings are available this time of year, also. I also like Ms. Frizzle from the Magic Schoolbus series. I went one year in a patterned jumper I had and got a red wig which I had a friend make look like her hair. You could carry the actual book from the character you choose so people know who you are. I know there are also picture books about scarecrows (I think Cynthia Rylant did one), and that's another option.
