If your being met with resistance, make it as easy as possible. Some may actually get into it if they are given a character with simple ideas. How about Harry Potter, a cape, striped polo shirt, a broom and round glasses maybe a scar with face paint, Red Riding Hood, a red cape with a hood and a picnic basket, Cat in the Hat, the Hat and a tail, Mrs. Nelson or Mrs. Bindergarten, teacher clothes (can't get any simpler than that) Have fun!
