Sra

Clip to ScrapBook
I am currently using the 3rd grade version of SRA as a supplemental reading program. The scripted part is a little too easy so I kind of tweek it to fit my class. It is fairly simple but there are always a few who it benefits well. I have used it in the past and liked it for the lower grades. You can bring the connecting, predicting, summarizing and other concepts you wish to incorporate in as extras related to the stories if you are using the upper program and your school does not object. My class likes it but it has to be for a very short period - 10 to 15 minutes a day.
