St. Louis area
By re

Clip to ScrapBook
I recently got a job in the St. Louis area. It is very tough, but possible. Many of my friends were not able to find a job yet. I think the best advice is to be patient. I tried the pushy thing with one district but it
just seemed to frusterate them. They get so many applications they don't seem to like phone calls or visits. However, many people told me it was impossible to get a job without subbing or being an aid first and I got one (without any connections.) A really helpful website is www.moreap.net. Many schools do their applications right through this website. There are many districts around
the St. Louis area that are not directly in St. Louis (cities such as St. Charles, O'Fallon, Chesterfield, etc.) Apply to all the districts you can! Hope this helps :) Stay positive something will come up.
