Our 6th grade is always raising money for our yearly field trips. We like to charter buses so it is a big expense. We have sold spirit bands which we ordered from a catalog that specialized in cheerleading items. I think the name was something like spiritline. The spirit bands are those rubber bank type bracelets that all the kids are wearing now. You can even have them custom printed with a logo. We had our school name put on them. We usuall sell them on ballgame days.
Also we have sold tattoos with our school mascot. We have raffled off cakes, bicycles, holiday baskets full of holiday things like candy, pencils, stuffed animals, etc.
We are constantly trying to raise money and the kids love participating in the fundraisings.
