Hi,
I teach 5th grade and we use Scott Foresman Reading. It is used in our county for grades 3-5. I love it. It is the best series we have ever used in the past 16 years. It is very thorough and has a lot of extras. Most
of the stories are great. I believe our k-2 teachers use Harcourt. I was not too impressed by it when I reviewed it, but the primary teachers liked it.

In our county we have three publishers to choose from and then we vote. The series is adopted county wide. If there is an overwhelming difference between the way primary and intermediate teachers vote they will choose two different

publishers to meet the teachers needs.;)
