quilts

Clip to ScrapBook
Stef, I also have this book, and I love it. I just recently did my student teaching, and my students made a quilt. We used one foot square of white material and printed the pattern on for each child. I used some iron patterns and drew some that went along with our unit we studied.

One thing that you may want to purchase if you have your children do a quilt it fabric paint markers. I think Crayola makes them and they are just like big magic markers. They are clean and easy to use. WARNING Old clothes on the day you paint, they won't wash out of fabric. Happy Quilting!!!!!!

I also brought in quilts and we talked about the orgin of quilts and how a family's history is reflected in the quilts.
