sight words

Clip to ScrapBook
I play a game "read my mind." each child needs a wipe off board or pencil and paper--you need to have a list of words for them to see--I use my word wall. I gave clues and it is always the same clue first"the word is on the word wall"
they pick any word and write it--then i give other clues like it has 4 letters-- it has only one tall letter--they may change their word after each clue-- my last clue is a fill in the blank sentence--for example if the word was "you"--my sentence would be "Can I help______?" they kids love it!
