Megan, What grade do you teach. If it is Kindergarten you could do something with the letter P if you wanted to. Have each student bring in something that starts with the letter P that day. During your lesson time gather
in a circle and have each child hold up their object on their turn and say 'this is my ______'(ie, pencil, polly pocket) print each word on a chart and read them over with the children concentrating on the P sound. As a follow up the children could make a small book of P words. Prepare P shaped books ahead of time with 5 or 6 pages and have the children put one P word on each page
(copy from chart) and draw a picture to go along with it. My kids love it. Could also use for grade 1. Hope this helps. I will check this board later tonight and tomorrow if you want any other ideas. Sorry but I don't do 5 senses as a unit. We just discus them as they come up.
