Clip to ScrapBook
On Monday, we will work with a pumpkin that we got on a pumpkin patch trip a week ago. We will talk about the pumpkin and develop a list of words describing it. I won't allow the activity to drag by having the class write all of the words but if they can do the initial sounds, that will be great. We will open the pumpkin up to expand the list. Our writing activity will be:
My pumpkin is ______ and ________. The children will refer to the word bank we created and copy the words. Some wil have more trouble than others in copying the text and I will give them clipboards and have them sit in front of the list.
