What K teachers want...

I think a preschool program needs to definetly teach the children their colors, introduce shapes, work on writing their first name (even if it is all capital letters) and make sure you give the children a LOT of coloring and cutting experience. Introducing letters and numbers for those who can "catch" it is a great thing but the things above are most important to me. Yes, K teaches AB patterns. It is now the 37th day of school and my children are being introduced to ABC patterns at the moment.
