Down Syndrome in Kindergarten
By Anne

Clip to ScrapBook
You have the perfect environment for integrating a child with DOWN Syndrome (not DOWN'S)
You can offer choice, variety and lots of active learning.
Try a story board for what you will do each day.
Use the technique, First I pick your activity and then you pick.
This child is no more stubborn than most, she just shows it in the most obvious way. Use humour, music, and a firm fair approach and the testing period will pass.
There is a lot of joy in teaching children with Down Syndrome as with all children. Keep smiling!
