A Day in the Life of Kindergarten

A good one to do right before back to school night that is cute is to have them write/draw about "A Day In The Life Of Kindergarten" (or morning/afternoon instead of day). Just like the calendars/books from a few years back each child and/or partners can write about one activity in their kindergarten day. One year I used the school's digital camera to take a photo of the activity that each child wrote/drew about and attached it to the page after the child had illustrated it. Once the pages are done you can put the pages in sequential order with the class helping, a great activity to emphasize first, second, third, next, then etc. Have it available for parents to read when they come to Back to School night.
