I would do eggs anyway. Instead of Easter, focus on what hatches from eggs. There is a ton of good literature out there on eggs and things that hatch from eggs. We do an extensive egg unit where we graph what hatches from
eggs and what doesn't. We graph our favorite way to eat eggs..scrambled, fried, boiled or breakfast taco (we live in Texas).Naturally, read Green Eggs and Ham. We make and eat green eggs and ham.. I cut up my ham and scramble it in the egg, omlette style. Of course, dying it all green. We sequence the hatching of a chick or other animal. I have an emu and an ostrich egg that I show the
class. We glue egg shells to letter Ee's. We make a book..A _____ hatches from an egg, but a _______ does not. Even if you don't use these now maybe these ideas will come in handy around Easter.
