writing letters
By Sandy

Clip to ScrapBook
Paula,
Our curriculum uses little characteristics of each letter to help the kids remember the formation, i.e. "capital I is a tall stick with a little hat and little shoes" and "little i is a short stick with a dot." When I instruct on the formation of the letter, I say the phrase while demonstrating on the chalkboard and the children say it with me while writing in the air. If this sounds like what you're looking for I'll be happy to give you the phrases for the entire alphabet.
