survival time

Clip to ScrapBook
Megan, I teach Jk and Sk and the first month of school is always rough (especially with Jk). Just remember it does get easier after a while. As for your little girl who moved to a new spot and doesn't listen.......She is
testing the waters to see what she can get away with. In Jk it is difficult. You want to be kind and sweet and loving but at the same time you have to let them know that you are the one in charge. If you don't do it now it will be harder later. My roommate is an Educational Assistant and she agrees. Let her know that you are the boss on this one. Some things you can compromise on
and some you can't. This early in the year you need to get routines established then you can ask for student input on things. I hope I have been of some help and not rambled too much. Any other questions you can feel free to email me at any time.
