I ordered both Transition Magician books, thank!
Over this weekend I have made a Behavior Chart for one student. Talked to parent who wants daily happy or unhappy face for each period of day. This worked for summer school.
I am saying this student's name too many times per day - he is most disruptive at circle time. I also feel sorry for the ones who always do as asked and wait patiently while I quieten the rest. So, I made tickets that say:You followed our Class Rules and earned a Treasure Chest Ticket! Good job! - picture of treasure chest too. I used Printmaster and picked the labels page. I

have lots of little toys from fast food places that I have collected from garage sales and thrift stores. I plan to put them in individual bags so student just picks out a bag and opens at home or at end of day. When I did the treasure box as a counselor, I found the kids took forever to choose and then changed their minds so I am wrapping them this time. I'll try it out this week. HOpefully the non-compliant ones will see who is getting prizes and want them too!
