recipe for coloring macaroni
By kml/ks

Clip to ScrapBook
Use one lg zip-loc bag and fill it about one fourth full. Add one capful of rubbing alcohol plus 3 or 4 drops of food coloring. Make sure the bag is zipped shut, then shake until the macaroni is colored. Dump the noodles out on layers of newspaper and spread them out. I can't remember how long it takes for them to dry. I let my students do this but make sure the bag is all the way zipped or you have a mess! It does stain so be careful and have fun!
