Full day

I teach a full day od preschool. Two days, one week and 3 days the next. I have a teacher aide fulltime. I find that children settle in a lot easier and willing to attemp big projects becuse they know they are at school for a full day. I also have a 1/2 hour to an hour rest each afternoon when the children listen to stories on tape or my aide reading a book. I only use parent helpers for excursions or field trips.
