morning activity

I allow my kids to choose a quiet center after they put up their bags. They can talk and visit during this time, too. I think they need some social time first thing, and it helps them concentrate when I begin circle time after 20 minutes or so. At our school the kids stagger in from 8:00-8:15 anyway, so I start at 8:30, and they are ready for the morning!
