Clip to ScrapBook
I can think of 3 off the top of my head (I've only taught K one year).
One goes to The Farmer in the Dell for whatever day of the week it is:
Friday is the day, Friday is the day, heigh ho the dairy-o, Friday is the
day.
One is a month of the year song, and I wish I could name the tune. Each verse kind of goes up in pitch, and it's a little fast. (Like that's really helpful):
January, February, March, and April,
May and June and July and August,
September, October, Novemeber, December,
Those are the months of the year.
The last one is a count-by-tens to 100 song. Also, I don't
know the name of the tune:
10 and 10 is 20, 20, 20
10 and 10 is 20, add ten more
20 and 10 is 30, 30, 30,
20 and 10 is 30, add ten more
Then all the way to 100, and you sing, "that's enough!"
This is a slower song, and works perfectly w/ that 100's chart we all have.
