disruptive children
By Marion

Clip to ScrapBook
A child who is 6 years old and working on the level of a 3 year old needs to be evaluated by the intermediate unit in your area. You can get help for your room..I did! Talk to the parents and get permission (after documenting skills etc). the parents sign the release for the intermediate unit to test and if there is a probelm, the family gets benefits, tuition etc. and services for dealing with the problem. My child received a TSS so that the behavior and skills could be handled and addressed. You can not handle this alone, get help from the school district agency of the intermediate unit.
