I teach full day and absolutely love it!!! The one advantage is TIME! There is more time for everything (not just academic), but for the projects and activites that make kindergarten fun. The children also feel more sense of community because we are there all day. They really get to make great friendships. When I taught 1/2 day I always felt guilty for taking the kids out to play on a nice day (because there was so much other stuff to cram in during the day) i also had to choose what I was going to teach that day math or lang arts. I say go for the full day . . .he'll love it!
