summer pre-K

Clip to ScrapBook
I have been teaching Pre-k for 100 years. I have taught both full day and l/2 day. Please keep in mind that little ones have an attention span of about 9 minutes. They are very into routine and have jobs. Some themes that might be fun are Fourth of July and other American Holidays. Talk about the different holidays(national, describe them and the symbols associated with them).
They can then play a mini jeopardy game with you descibing the holiday and them naming it. Birds, flowers, insects, the solar system ( making a mobile is fun). The ocean, mermaids and fish also seem to hold their interst. Go the enchanted learning.com they have a wealth of ideas and topics. Please e-mail me if you need any help. Good luck and have fun.
