If they know their letters and letter sounds, they are where they should be for kindergarten. Remember, they weren't born already speaking in full sentences.As for letter reversals, you will continue to see this to some degree until 2nd grade. Like reading, it's a developmental skill. We still need to model and teach, but we need to give them a chance to grow at their own pace.
