I have students who exhibit all the styles of writing that you have described! Some are still stringing together random letters, a few more will write sentences with inventive spelling, and about 3 can write short complete sentences. I'm proud of all they have accomplished this year; if you could have seen where we started out (writing, behavior, etc), we've made remarkable progress! Tammy
