I have 2 ESL Spanish students. They each get 30 minutes a day of ESL tutoring with a great deal of input from me about what is needed at the time. Perhaps the most effective thing that we have done is have them come to both AM and PM sessions. They show improvement between the two sessions just by the repetition. One child gets 3 out of 5 spelling words right in the morning, and all 5 in the afternoon! Is this an option for you?
