math mats
By deanna jump

Clip to ScrapBook
I love using math mats and I know for a fact that they are well worth the trouble. For example, during our ocean unit we were working on addition and subtraction. I made math mats by die-cutting large fish bowls and gluing them to a half sheet of construction paper and laminating them. we used goldfish crackers to manipulate the addition facts. there are so many ways to use math mats. an easy way to get them done fast is to use ellison die cuts or to purchase the teachers notepads that are in shapes and glue them to construction paper and laminate. good luck!
