Mother's Day Gifts
By Coleen

Clip to ScrapBook
This is something that I do every year with my kids, it may sound like a lot of work, but the kids do most of it and the outcome just can't be beat. I buy small ceramic plant pots and some napkins with a lot of flowers or
something springy on them. The kids cut out the designs on the napkins and then we glue them onto the pots making sure that they are totally covered. Then I spray them with a protective spray so that when they are watered, they won't start to come off. Then we plant flower seeds in the pots and the kids take care of watering them until Mother's Day and they give them to their mothers.
(I always do one of my own that someone can have if there is one that happens not to grow, but it has never happened yet!) The moms are tickled and I still have some that come back to me and tell me that they still have the pots and plant things in them every year. Hope this gives you an idea or two!
