Mother's Day Craft Idea

This craft idea is hard to beat. It's called "the Guilded Shoe". Have students bring in an old shoe they have outgrown. Place the shoe on wax paper and paint with 3 coats of school glue letting the glue dry between coats. Then take gold paint and paint the shoes. I got this idea from "Dr. Jean.com" . If you go there you can also find a really cute poem to go with the shoe. It doesn't take alot of time to complete this craft and the results are fantastic!
