Down Syndrome By Karen K

I am no expert, but I have a little girl with Down's in my K class this year. She is smart and lots of fun, but she is VERY stubborn!! I find things go a little better if I give her a choice (You can walk in line or I will hold your hand.)
Using picture cards is good for building language. I put out a set of 3. Then ask "which one is gone?" Hope this helps.
