It must be a K thing! I have one student that thinks he is the line leader no matter what. So...I have a line leader, door holder (who is always second in line) and a lights helper (caboose). I allow him (if he is not one of the three helpers previously listed) to be third in line. I have also told my students that "cutting" is okay in our room only if the person you are cutting in front of is agreeable to it. But as soon as we walk out of our classroom door, there is no cutting. I have found that this helps!! Good luck!
