Interested in OK

I am interested in joining the postcard exchange. Would I benefit from it this late in the school year? We only have 9 weeks to go. I tried to do something similar this year but I sent out e-mails to my friends and family to send us postcards. It didn't work out too good. I also asked my students parents to have friends and family send us postcards and again it didn't go very well. Only one parent took the time to do it. Although we received about 20 postcards from 13 states just from that one child. I teach K in Oklahoma in very small farming community. We don't even have a grocery store. We have to go to the next town that is 10 miles away. Please let me know what you think.
